FAQ
Questions, answered plainly.
Getting started
What is reelwith?
An iPhone and web app where every chat makes one reel. You write or talk, reelwith turns it into a script in your words, and your double says it as a vertical, captioned video for LinkedIn and Instagram.
Is it available now?
Not yet. It is in development and opens in stages to early access members. The first stage covers solo reels and posting; teams, agencies and the calendar follow.
Do I need to film anything?
Once: two photos, your voice and a 10 second clip on your phone. After that, no filming. Film mode also lets you caption a real video you recorded, if you prefer.
Your double
Who can make a double of me?
Only you. Every double needs a 30 second live check done by the person in it, on their own phone. An agency or colleague can send you the link, but they cannot pass the check for you.
Who checks it's really me?
The live check is run by ByteDance through BytePlus, the service that also renders the video. The page names Getconvi Technologies Private Limited as the company asking, because that is the account our reels are made on.
Can I stop someone using my double?
Yes, at any time. Open "Manage my double" with a code sent to your email or phone; you do not need an account. Withdrawing stops new reels at once and blocks unposted ones.
Will it say things I didn't approve?
Your double says the script in the chat, nothing else. You, or the approver you named, see the finished reel before it can be posted. Every reel carries a "made with my double" mark.
Making a reel
How long can a reel be?
Most are 30 to 90 seconds. Longer reels are made in parts and joined, up to 4 minutes.
Which languages?
English, Hindi, Hinglish, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi and Punjabi. Each language is switched on only after it passes our listening tests.
What if a part comes out wrong?
Fix that part alone, or pick another take. If the video service fails a part, you are not charged for it.
Teams and agencies
Who pays in a team?
Whoever presses Make it, from their own credits. There is no company billing. Reviewers never pay.
How do agencies keep clients apart?
Each client gets its own workspace with its own chats, doubles, approvers and calendar. People invited to one client never see another.
Posting
Does reelwith post for me?
Only when you press Post now or put a reel on the calendar. A reel that still needs approval at its time does not post.
Which platforms?
LinkedIn (your profile and company pages) and Instagram professional accounts. For anything else, download the reel.
Privacy
Where is my data stored?
Our records and your media are stored in India (Mumbai). Rendering happens at BytePlus in Singapore and scripts are written through Anthropic's API; the privacy policy lists every service and what it receives.
Is my face used to train anything?
We do not train models on your face, voice or reels, and we choose providers whose terms say they don't either. The privacy policy states each provider's terms separately.
How do I delete everything?
You → Delete everything. Your account, doubles and media are deleted from our systems and our providers within 30 days. Reels already posted to LinkedIn or Instagram stay there until you delete them; we offer a one-tap request for the posts we made.
Plans and billing
How much does it cost?
Not announced yet. You pay in credits per reel, shown before you press Make it. On iPhone you pay through Apple; on the web through Razorpay. One balance works on both.
Do credits expire?
Credits you buy never expire. Free promotional credits may have a date, shown when you get them.
What is coming
Podcasts and shows with several people?
Planned, once we have tested that two or three doubles can speak well in one reel. Each person approves the use of their double first.
Creator collabs?
Planned: creators from different accounts in one chat, each with their own double, all approving before it posts.
